Edit 2026: Poor service, cash grab and condescending staff. Dr. Fink always gave great care, but new management is yucky. Please go elsewhere. I am happy to spend money on quality care for my furbabies, but the level of care and price do not match. Meh care for an exorbitant amount. My personal experience with a condescending attitude when I asked about doing a clean catch urine and the results of blood work, the staff said "are you like medical or something?". While I am in a human medical field and know that animals are very different, I do have some base knowledge on medical procedures and wanted more clarification. 9 years ago, with my original review: Love the staff and the services provided!

I've been taking my pets here for twenty years and Always been happy with Dr. Fink and his staff. Very caring and professional people. THIS WAS SIX YEARS AGO...5 STARS. Dr Fink retired. Miss him. 11/15/25 called for help at beginning of their work day. My 19.5 cat, aka child of my heart, was ill. I got a call back on 11/17/25 asking me how she was doing. She died. Yes, after not hearing from them two days before on the 15th, I took her to the emergency vet. Yes, it was her time and she was humanly put to sleep. I'm a responsible pet parent. After the personal care I was used to since 2000 from Dr. Fink, these new office owners left me Flat. Automated answering machine menu. No human to talk to. Impersonal. Urgent pet care where we ended up going, human answering the phone and caring staff. That was my last fur baby I think but if it weren't, I'd find a different office rather than Animal Center West. If they are THAT busy than can't give good care.
